Kala Ghoda Turns Green- Wonders of nature
Mumbai’s favorite creative platform, the annual Kala Ghoda Arts Festival had a theme based on environmental conservation and sustainable living in 2018.
This theme ‘Hara Ghoda’ – brought to the stage the wonders of nature shown through performance and art. The raging flames of the Fire of victory (Agni), the liquid blue of Aqua (Jal), the indefinable Air (Vayu), the indestructible Earth (Prithvi) and the realms of Space (Akash), found their place and artistic representation at the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival 2018.
Our Theme: Inception of Light
The five elements of nature- Earth, water, fire, air & sky form an integral part of life from its origin to
culmination. This installation depicted how man is connected to the five elements of nature. Unfortunately, man has been misusing these. We’re trying to uproot nature for our benefit without realizing that we’re uprooting ourselves indirectly. One often realizes the importance of a thing after it's gone. Humans need to wake up because nature is vanishing. When will we realize its importance?
